Sam was born on July 20th, 1929 in Reading, Pennsylvania as the twelfth of thirteen children. He married his wife Velma on May 4th, 1957 and they enjoyed 60 years, 6 months, and 16 days of marriage. Sam served in the United States Marine Corps from 1950-1954 during the Korean War, and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was an accomplished auto mechanic and a talented keyboardist. Sam's quiet contentedness always brought joy to those around him.
Services will be held with close family and friends on April 12, 2021 at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City.
