Salvatore Micciche

September 12, 1941 — December 16, 2012

Salvatore Micciche, 71, born on September 12, 1941, in San Giussepe Jato, Sicily, Italy passed away December 16, 2012. He is survived by his three sisters, Teresa Micciche, Vita Granato (Domenic Granato), and Rosa Piumetti (Frank Piumetti). Salvatore had two daughters with spouse Evelyn: Teresa Agatha Micciche Reese and Mary Christine Micciche Roy. He had a son with spouse Patricia: Pietro Daniel Micciche. Salvatore also leaves behind 4 grandchildren: Aidan, Jordan, Taylor and Trevor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pietro and Agata Micciche, and his brothers, Rosario, Angelo and Vicenzo.

Salvatore came to California 45 years ago. He thrived for those years in several trades, as an owner of a wrought iron business, real estate investor, and owner of a building/construction business.

Salvatore was a hardworking and proud man; he had simple needs and desires. He loved his friends and family. He would do whatever he could to help them. He will always be remembered for being strong-minded and for being one who was never scared to give his opinion. Most everyone will remember him for his sensational cooking skills and love of entertaining. When he cooked it was like heaven parted and the angels came down to blow their trumpets in pure delight.

We love you Salvatore and will miss you.
