Salvador Lawrence Castro was born on August 21, 1956 and passed away on December 28, 2015. Salvador was a long time resident of Indio, California. Visitation held, Monday, January 11, 2016 at 9:30 - 10:30 a.m; Rosary held at 10:30 a.m.; Catholic Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Indio, with graveside to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery, Coachella, California. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Indio. Sal brought joy, humor, and love to his family. Thank you Sal for the many lessons you provided on acceptance and unconditional love. We miss you already! Sal was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ruth Castro, brothers ; Salvador and Peter and sister Nieves. He is survived by sisters - Stella Gilbert , Josie Raske, Gloria Doyle, Priscilla Castro and Rita Bova. Also by brothers Joe Castro, John Castro and Carol, Jesse Castro and Rachel and 50 nieces and nephews
