Salvacion "Sally" Garcia

Salvacion "Sally" Llander Garcia, 91, born on May 06, 1931, in Manila, Philippines, passed away April 28, 2023. She resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Benjamin Bennett; sisters: Naty and Rose; children: Carlos, Susan (deceased), Liza, Frank, Josie and Patrick; sons in law: Caesar and Willie; daughters in law: Emir, Beng and Ann; grandchildren: CJ & Antoinette, Julian, Ray & Amana, Adrian & Rosemary, Ica, Abby, Ira, Jon Jon, Francis, Paulo and Patricia; great grandchildren: Calix, Noemi, Kaylee and Averie.

Sally was one of four siblings born to Maria P. Llander and Francisco Garcia.  Capt. Jose Ronquillo was the father of her children.  He died in Manila in the mid 1960's. Sally, immigrated to Chicago in 1969 and in 1986 moved to California to be with her children and grandchildren. She worked for almost 10 years at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Her cremated remains will be flown to Manila, Philippines where she will permanently be interred.
