Ruth Taylor

Ruth E. Taylor 81 of Covina, CA passed away on Monday February 27, 2023. She was born November 30, 1941 in Ithaca, NY daughter of the late Richard and Miriam Swope Culp.

Ruth attended Ithaca High School class of 60. She made her way to California at the age of 22. Ruth had various jobs over the years, but mostly she was a stay at home mom.

Ruth enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and golf. Ruth was a member of the Sandtrappers Golf Club at Glenoaks of Glendora CA. She traveled to several other golf courses with many of her girlfriends. She enjoyed spending time with the ladies. She's a former President of the club from 2013-2014.  She also enjoyed watching her grandson play baseball. She and her husband traveled across the United States in their RV several times over the years, hitting almost every state but 4. She also attended every high school reunion in Ithaca NY, something she would not miss.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lawrence and her children Cynthia Arp(John), Brad: her sister Frances Culp Brower (Herb); her grandson Riley as she fondly called Widey. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Douglas Myers (Deborah), James  Myers (Linda), Katherine Leonardo, Diane Brower Tiemessen, Shelly Brower and Kenneth Brower. Ruth was also predeceased by her sister Marie Myers and her nephew Daniel Brower.
