Born, raised and educated in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Carl and Frieda (Weiss) Roemer, she graduated from Jamaica Plain High School in 1951 where she was a member of the Cheerleading Squad.  At the age of fourteen, she began her working career after school hours at Peter Flynn's Department Store eventually rising to the position of Secretary to the President and Credit Manager.  She was later employed as the Asst. A talented artist, Mrs. Pipitone excelled at an early age and was one of several young Boston students chosen to receive free art lessons at The Museum of Fine Arts.  One of her paintings was chosen to hang in the museum art exhibit and she later received the honor of a scholarship to Massachusetts School of Arts, which she graciously declined.

Mrs. Pipitone was afflicted for many years with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that curtailed her work career.  During that time she became interested in writing and began the task of writing a novel and later turned to her love of music to complete her project as a musical.

Mrs. Pipitone enjoyed several hobbies including reading, cooking, and entertaining family and friends, as well as a great sense of humor and the joy of giving to others that enabled her to deal with the chronic illness that plagued her until the time of her death.

The wife of the late Pasquale L. "Patsy"' Pipitone and mother of the late Christopher Pipitone, and sister of the late Helen Coronella, she is survived by three sons, Richard "Rick"' Pipitone and his wife Cheryl of Derry, Joseph D. Pipitone and his wife Nancy of Jaffrey, and Gary S. Pipitone of Atkinson, a daughter-in-law, Susan M. Pipitone of Epping, sister Liesbeth Healy of Boston, grandchildren, David J. Pipitone and his wife Liz, Joshua R. Pipitone, Jennifer M. Pipitone, Joseph D. Pipitone, II, Katie Lee Pipitone, and Matthew J.
