Ruth Arlene Leitao

Ruth "Arlene" Leitao, 80, born on February 6, 1935, in Fallen Timber, Pennsylvania, passed away January 15, 2016, just three weeks shy of her 81st birthday. She resided in Cypress, California. She will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery, where she joins her devoted husband Jerry. Arlene was blessed with six children, 5 of whom survive her: David Leitao, Pam Leitao, Debbie Allen, Michael Leitao and Chuck Leitao. She is also survived by a loving daughter-in-law, Rhonda Leitao, 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren; Siblings Hazel Conrad, Betty Ulrich, Grace Gould, Bob Monahan, Gloria Rainey and Helen Wilkinson; Sister-in-law Dorothy (Sister Ann) Leitao and brother-in-law Edgar. Arlene was well-loved by her many nieces and nephews, a wonderful circle of friends and extended family.
Arlene is preceded in death by her son, Bobby; her husband Jerry, her parents Melvin and Margaret Monahan, parents-in-law Joseph and Ursula Leitao, and her siblings Dorothy, Nancy and Melvin Jr., her son-in-law Kurt Allen and Daughter-in-law Kathie Leitao.
