Ruth Huffman passed away of natural causes at her daughter's home on January 12, 2021 in Canoga Park, CA. She was 96 years old.

Ruth was born in Long Beach, CA to the late Henry and Grace Meyer on November 10, 1924. She was raised in Glendale, CA and attended Glendale High School. She married Harold (Hal) Huffman in 1945. Ruth and Hal moved to Reseda, CA in 1950 where Hal was a carpenter and Ruth was an at-home mother, and later an X-ray technician.

Ruth loved gardening and playing the piano. She was active with the First Baptist Church in Woodland Hills, CA. She had many friends and enjoyed life.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Francie Lorey (JJ) of Canoga Park, CA; her son, Rand Huffman (Vicky) of Oxnard, CA; five grandchildren: Lisa Sommers, Stephanie Crowe (Bruce), Ryan Lorey (Lindsey), Tracie Truesdell (Doug) & Bradley Huffman (Joselyn), and eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Hal, her brother Frank Meyer and sister Margaret Smith.

Ruth will be laid to rest on February 11, 2021 at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068. Graveside service will begin at 8:30 AM.
