Russell S. Maybury

Russell S. Maybury, 57, born in Glendora, CA, passed away November 11, 2020 of natural causes at his home in Claremont, CA. He was a son of Robert G. Maybury Sr. and Suzanne (Paradis) Maybury who preceded Russ in death. Russ was united in marriage to Laura Maybury for 24 years. He attended Covina High School and Cal State Fullerton. Russ enjoyed art, model trains, and playing sports, with football and golf being his favorites. He loved meeting people and having a good time. Russ was employed at Southern California Gas Company for 17 years. He was a loving husband and father, cherishing the time spent with family and friends. Russ was deeply loved and will be missed by many. Russ is survived by his wife Laura Maybury; his son Russell (Rusty) Maybury; one sister Karen Valenti; two brothers: Robert (Michelle) Maybury and Mark Maybury. He is also survived by his beloved sister-in-law Ronnie Bellot who helped care for Russ during his illness. In addition, Russ is survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held for Russ. A celebration of Russ' life is planned at a later date in 2021.
