Rudy Aytona Doctor

Rudy Aytona Doctor passed away peacefully at his home in Phillips Ranch, California, on September 22, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on May 2, 1936, Rudy’s life was defined by his unwavering faith and his boundless love for his family. A man of quiet devotion, his life’s work was centered on his loyal and dedicated service to God, particularly through his commitment to Banal na Pag-aaral. He was a prayerful and devout man whose greatest joy came from supporting the faithful mission of his church, a passion that served as a constant inspiration to all who knew him.

He is survived by Cecilia Zafra Doctor, his beloved wife of 60 years. Rudy was an adoring Lolo (grandfather) and father to his four children: Ricky (Clowie), Reggie, Machelle (Ed), and Krys. His legacy of faith, kindness, and prayer continues through his eleven cherished grandchildren: Rie, Xira, Celine, Luc, Jed, Madee, Robbie, Ian, Raffy, Ally, and Gabe; and three great-grandchildren: Everest, Juniper, and River. Rudy’s gentle spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed, but his family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace with the Lord he served so faithfully. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
