Ruben Gomez

Ruben Gomez, Devoted Husband , Brother , Father , Grandfather A.K.A ( PaPa , Hunny ) 66, born on March 24, 1952, in Oxnard, California, passed away February 25, 2019. He resided in Lynwood, California at the time of his passing. Ruben worked at St. Francis Medical Center as a Supervisor for the Engineering department for over 35 years in Lynwood , California . He was innovative, loving and humbling . Was well respected by many . Ruben enjoyed great food , music and family gatherings . Ruben was knowed to have a contagious smile on face that could light up a room . He always had a positive outlook on life . Ruben believed in happiness and the importance of Family being everything. Ruben was officially diagnosed with ALS summer of 2017 and was showing signs of the disease in 2016. He fought a long and rigorous fight with the neurodegenerative disease and in February 2019 his battle ended . Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
