Roy Lachica Soriano

Roy Lachica Soriano, 78, born on November 20, 1935, in Ilo Ilo, Philippines, passed away March 19, 2014. He resided in Artesia, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.

Roy was a retired Businessman and was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Ganzon Soriano; his mother, Conchita Lachica Soriano; his sisters, Sonya Jimenez and Rosie Somulong (Caesar); and his brother Mario Soriano.

Survivors include his Fiancee, Nora Biacan of Long Beach, CA; his children, Roy Soriano, Liberty Soriano, Sharon Perkins (Phillip), and Rex Joseph Soriano of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Ofelia Soriano, Aida Lladoc (Inocentes), Mildred Pama (Teresito), Conchita Limsiaco (Eduardo), Jose Soriano (Cora); his grandchildren, Taylor Marie Murrow, James Perkins, and Zachary Perkins of Louisville, KY; his extended family, Filmore Biacan, Aloha Biacan, Jonathan Biacan, Maribel Biacan, Jayson Biacan, Madisyn Castillo, Anthony Biacan, and Nixon Castillo; his numerous nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends all over the world.

Roy will be celebrated through a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 31, at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 2305 Santa Fe Avenue, Long Beach, CA.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 30 from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn – Long Beach, 1500 East San Antonio Drive, Long Beach, CA.
