Rosemary Sanchez-McDanel

Rosemary McDanel, a lifelong resident of the Coachella Valley, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Coachella, California on July 26, 2023. She was born on February 24, 1954, in Indio, California to Maria Antonia Sanchez and Leonardo Sanchez. Rosemary was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her role as a grandparent.

Rosemary leaves behind her daughter, Buffy Ayala and son-in-law Jorge Ayala. Rosemary shared a deep bond with her grandchildren Alex Mendez, Cristian Ayala, Jaden Ayala as well as her beloved great-grandchildren Leonardo, Natalia, and Amira. She rejoiced in watching them grow, providing them with unwavering support and boundless love.

Professionally, Rosemary dedicated many years of service to the Mission Hills County Club Clubhouse. She formed enduring friendships during her time there and was known for her kindness and generosity towards others. Her members remember her as a reliable and selfless individual who always went the extra mile to ensure everyone felt valued.

In addition to her immediate family members, Rosemary is survived by her brothers Steve Sanchez (Anita) and Robert Sanchez (Isabelle). She also leaves behind her nephew and nieces.  

A funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate Rosemary McDanel's life. The service will take place on August 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Indio, California. Friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by Rosemary are invited to gather and pay their respects during this time of remembrance.

During this period of mourning, let us remember Rosemary for the love she shared, the lives she enriched, and the countless memories she created. May her spirit live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
