Rosemarie Fernando

Rosemarie Fernando (maiden name: Howard), born on May 7, 1932, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, passed away August 3, 2017. She resided in Downey, California at the time of her passing and was surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Tony Fernando, loving mother to Manilal and Cherene, Cedric, Rodney, and Sheronne. Grandmother of Dayantha, Thilan, Krishani, Derrick, Melanie, Nicholas, Michael, Neville, Elizabeth, and Kevin, as well as 10 great-grand children. Dearest sister to the late Elmo Howard (Zinnia), the late Viola Willenberg (Ronnie), Duff Howard (Veronica), Fairlyn Dulling (Dudley). Precious friend and sister in law to Lynette Fernando. Also, Amitha, Annette,and the late Florette, the late Yvonne, and the late Roy.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.

Thursday, August 10 - 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Church of Our Fathers, Forest Lawn, Cypress.
Rosary at 7:30 pm.

Friday, August 11 - 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - viewing at Forest Lawn Cypress Chapel

Saturday, August 12 - Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. - St. Raymond Catholic Church, Downey, CA
