Rosemarie Elio Baldivia was born March 1, 1954 in Negros Occidental, Philippines to Eduardo and Florentina Baldivia. She grew up in the Negros Occidental Island and lived the remainder of her childhood in the province of Antique, located in the Pinay Island. She had 4 siblings (3 sisters, 1 brother) and was the second to the youngest. Rosemarie went to Makati High School then continued her education at Ortanez University to study Midwifery. She was a practicing midwife from 1974 till she worked in the office 1979 followed by moving to America in 1982.

Rosemarie lived in Huntington Beach and gave birth to her first son, Ortega Jose (Joe) in 1983. Rosemarie raised Joe in the Orange County area until they moved to Baldwin Park for a year in 1989. Rose and Joe moved to Pasadena where she worked as a Nurse's Assistant at Sophia Lyn Convalescent Hospital. Rosemarie gave birth to her second child, first daughter, Princess Rose. Rosemarie raised Joe and Princess in the city of Sierra Madre while working as a private caregiver for families in the Pasadena area.

Rosemarie became a grandmother to her first grandson, Josiah, in 2004. Rosemarie loved her grandchildren, Josiah 2004, Jonah 2009, and Bella 2010. Rose travelled to the Philippines and Israel, which she loved and enjoyed to the fullest. Rose is known for her love, care, generosity, humor, optimism, work ethic, and strength. Rose passed away in Pasadena, California on April 7, 2016. She will always be remembered.
