Rose Marie Gurr

Rose Marie Gurr, 83, born on November 27, 1938, in Los Angeles, CA, United States, passed away February 25, 2022. She resided in Newport Beach, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California. Born to Herminia and Benjamin Mota of Zapatecas, Mexico. Rose grew up with five sisters and one brother that are all deceased. Rose was the youngest of the family. She attended Saint Agnes Catholic School Los Angeles and went on to receive a BA in Supply Chain Management from Pepperdine University. She worked in management at shipping and logistics companies finishing her long career at Sea Launch in Long Beach helping to place communications gear into orbit. She Married James Gurr in 1982 and they traveled extensively until his death in 2003. She loved animals and always had dogs and cats for company. She loved shopping and traveling both at the same time if she could. She was a loving individual and always wanted to help family when she could.
