Rose Rita (page) Chase

Newton, NH: Rose Rita (Page) Chase, a lifelong resident of Newton, NH, died on April 29, 2016 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Born in New Ipswich, NH and raised in Newton, daughter of the late William H. and Roseanna (Sorel) Page, Mrs. Chase graduated from Sanborn Seminary with the Class of 1943.

A member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish at Mary Mother of the Church in Newton, Mrs. Chase was most recently employed as an Installment Loan Bookkeeper for Plaistow Bank and Trust. She also did shoe novelty work from her home in her younger years.

Mrs. Chase enjoyed bowling and making crafts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Leslie Chase in 2009, and is survived by three sons, Robert D. Chase and his wife Carol of Newton, L. Norman Chase of Raymond, and William L. Chase of Newton, four brothers, Roland Page of Amesbury, MA, Norman Page of Newton, Carl Page of Inverness, FL, and J. Francis Page of Raymond, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Richard and Edward Page.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Chase's Life Celebration on Monday, May 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 7:15 p.m. in the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
