Rosario S. Meade

Rosario S. Meade, 84, was born on December 15, 1935, in Brawley, California, and was raised outside of Mexicali, Mexico. She was the 3rd of 12 children born to Antonio and Mercedes Solorzano. She passed away peacefully on July 11, 2020.

She resided in Diamond Bar, California at the time of her passing. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Alberto Meade; her three children: Luis, Rosario and Albert Meade; her daughter-in-law Shelly Meade; her grandchildren Nikole and Conner Meade; and her siblings: Esperanza Wells, Paula Montoya, Teresa Solorzano and Rudy Solorzano.

Rosario was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was known for her strong Christian faith and deep devotion to God. She was also known for her exceptional cooking and sewing skills, her hospitality, and her grace and kind nature. She loved her dogs, Angels' baseball, and was adventurous and loved to travel. After her retirement from Rowland Unified School District, she and her husband Alberto traveled through much of the world.

She lived a good life filled with love. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
