Rosalina graduated from Philippine Women’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education. She taught school for two years and continued to value education throughout her life. She met her future husband, Braulio Ynglis Bendebel, in her family’s sari sari store. After getting married, they opened a restaurant together and named it R-20 Canteen. On Christmas Day and New Years Day, they always served free food to everyone.
Rosalina and Braulio raised their 8 children in Nichols Air Base, Pasay City. Every Friday, she would hear mass at Quiapo Catholic Church. With her strong educational values and successful business, she was able to help all of her children and several relatives finish college. She and her husband immigrated to the United States in 1982 where she worked at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center for 17 years in the dietary department. In her later years, she was surrounded by her loving family.
