Rosalie Cruz

Rosalie Cruz, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024 at the age of 79.  Born on March 9, 1945, Rosalie was a proud Filipino immigrant whose journey through life was marked by kindness, compassion, and a remarkable sense of humor.

Throughout her life, Rosalie demonstrated an unwavering commitment to caring for others.  Her love extended beyond her immediate family, as she touched the lives of many with warmth and generosity.  As a sister to Rose Marie Garrido and Miriam Juan, she shared a bond built on love, laughter, and support, memories that will remain cherished by her family.

Rosalie was a devoted wife to her husband, Virgilio, and a nurturing mother to her son, Russell.  She also embraced the role of mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law, Carolina Cruz.  The joys of being a grandmother were evident in her deep affection for her grandchildren: Brielle, Jace, Kai, Bryce, and Haden.  Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she was delighted in nurturing their growth and happiness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamerto Juan, Rosario Juan, and her sister, Josephine Dalton.  Their memory lives on in Rosalie’s legacy of love and devotion to family, which will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her life will be honored during visitation on November 24, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Acacia Room, located at 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA 91724.  A funeral service will follow on November 25, 2024, at 9:30 AM at the Church of Our Heritage, also at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills.

Shortly after the funeral service, the family would like for all friends and family to join them at Tasty Buffet and Grill located at 12 Rancho Camino Dr. ste 103, Pomona CA 91766.

Rosalie Cruz leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with care and laughter. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege to share in her life.
