Rosa Lidia Rocha

In the early morning hours of February 5, 2015, Rosa Rocha peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home. She was surround by her husband, brothers and children. She was 65 years old.

Rosa was born in Honduras on April 18, 1949. She was the third child, and first daughter, of Jose and Mariana Gonzalez who precede her in death.

She was a self proclaimed "tom-boy". Some of her fondest childhood memories were of scraping her knees, chasing after her older brothers. She was an original screaming teenage fan of the Beatles. She continued to be an avid fan of a wide range of music. Including but not limited to; The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, The Police, Juan Gabriel, Rocio Durcal, Pit Bull, Juanes... She was a die hard soccer fan and never missed a World Cup series. She enjoyed watching the Oscars and the Grammy Awards every year.

The hardest and most fulfilling task in Rosa's life was raising her nine children. She was extremely proud of her children. She enjoyed spending time with her 22 grandchildren.
