Roozik Eisakhanian

Dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loyal friend.

As a Glendale resident for over ten years, Roozik Eisakhanian was born in Chahar Mahal, Iran to Yeonok and Ripsimeh Issakhanian on May 23rd, 1931. She was the third child and her parents' first daughter. Roozik was sent at a young age to live with family members and pursue her education in New Julfa (Isfahan/Iran). Roozik got married when she was just a teenager. She had a fulfilled married life for over fifty years with her late husband Vartan Alexandrian (passed away in 2001). She is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, extended family and many dear and cherished friends. Her passions in life were her family, friends, her home, education and traveling. She exhibited ageless qualities and touched the hearts and lives of many people. Once you met her you never forgot her. A lover of food, Roozik also loved to hike, to read, to entertain and she knitted expertly. She retained her intellect and independent style until the end. She passed away peacefully in her home on January 15th 2013.

She will be missed deeply.
