Ronda Bestle

Ronda Bestle, 72, born on March 14, 1951, in Phoenix, AZ, United States, to Russell and Blythe (Bean) Peters, passed away April 5, 2023. She married Rory Bestle on November 6, 1987.

 
Ronda lived in various cities in California, and Ottumwa, Iowa. She attended John H. Francis Polytechnic High School and went on to achieve Nursing Degrees. She worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and then went on to get her Registered Nursing degree. She worked at Sherman Oaks Community and Kaiser Hospital for over 40 years. She was an artist from the time she could lift a paint brush, and in recent years loved teaching her paint classes in person and on Zoom during Covid. Crafting was also a passion of Ronda’s and she could be found at many crafts fairs over the years. Throughout the years Ronda had many Chihuahua dogs, who she considered her children. She loved to travel around the country with her husband, Rory. Together they visited many National Park, State Capitals, and National Battlefields (buying T-shirts in all of them).

Surviving Ronda is her husband Rory Bestle; their two Chihuahuas, Peanut and Dixie, her sister Jaqueline (Bennie deceased) Barker of Ottumwa, IA, Beverly (George) Barker of Las Vegas, Susan (Phillip) Haskett of Las Vegas, Kimberly (Steve) Lawhead of Lancaster, CA, brothers and sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. 

Ronda was also a cancer survivor, who steadfastly volunteered for organizations such as Relay for Life and participated in the Diabetes Walk. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Jody.

She resided in Canyon Country, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
