Ronaldo De Guzman Salamat

Ronaldo DeGuzman Salamat, age 81, born on June 8, 1937, in Paombong, Bulacan, Philippines. On September 23, 2018 @ Good Samaritan Hospital Los Angeles, CA. after a long battle of numerous illnesses & Cancer.

Ronaldo was a veteran of the Vietnam War, served in the United States Navy on the USS Midway & USS Horne as cook for 20 + plus years, retired. He also worked in United States Postal Services in Los Angeles County as a Postal Clerk for 20 + plus years, retired.

Ronaldo is survived by his wife Evangelina. Four children: youngest- Melanie Salamat Mendoza & Edgar Mendoza Son in Law, 3rd Ronald Villegas, 2nd Rollen Villegas & Purificacion Villegas Daughter in law, Oldest Marilou Villegas Daproza & Cesar Daproza Son in law. Five Grandchildren from Melanie: Mehgee Anne, Justyne Chyna, Rhyan Andrue, Nathyn Mikeal, Kailee Mei. One Great GrandDaughter from Justyne: Jayna Melleen. Doggy: Rocky. He is the son of Luis Cruz Salamat & Maria Bagtas De Guzman Salamat (both deceased) Siblings: Nancy, Bobby (deceased), Zenaida & their children & families in the Philippines.

**Viewing services will be held on Friday October 05, 2018 @ 10am-9pm in the Cypress Room in Forest Lawn Cypress 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, CA 90630. Rosary/Mass will be held @ 6pm by Father Ramon.
**Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 06, 2018 @ 9am by Father Francis in St. Lucy's Catholic Church 2301 Santa Fe Ave. Long Beach, CA 90810
**Burial services will follow @ 10:30am in Forest Lawn Cypress - Everlasting Hope
