Ronald Reyes

Ronald “Bon” Reyes, born on December 12, 1980, in Bellflower, California, passed away on October 13, 2024 in Downey, California. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who shared in the lives of those dear to him with his playful spirit and kind heart.

A proud graduate of Downey High School, Class of 1999, Ronald furthered his education by earning a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from Cerritos City College in 2007. 

Ronald was well-known for his magnetic smile and generosity. He was always willing to share with others and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His love for music, guitar, and attending concerts highlighted his vibrant personality. In addition to his appreciation for the arts, he found happiness in movies, games, and the quality time spent with friends. Ronald also had a tender affection for his dogs, ‘Brownie’ and ‘Ryu,’ who brought him much joy. 

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his mother, Julieta Copon Reyes; brothers, Jaime and Robert Reyes; sister-in-law, Janice Reyes; nephew, John Reyes; and niece, Lisa Reyes. Ronald will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation services for Ronald will be held at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Hope Chapel, located at 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630, on December 7, 2024. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects, beginning at 10:00 AM, with the service concluding at 2:00 PM.

He was preceded in death by father, Rosendo Mitra Reyes Jr., and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.
