Ronald Charles Mrachek, 77, of Rancho Mirage, CA, passed away on July 4, 2014. He was born on August 9, 1936 in Winona, MN.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Mrachek, his children, Gregory (Karen), Bruce (Laura), and Kathleen and by Cheryl's children, Travis Hill and Amanda (Matt) Brey. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Jenae McCarroll and Ben and Alexis Mrachek, as well as his step-grandchildren, Holden and Everett Brey.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Ben and Lucille Grain.

He graduated from Winona High School and held a bachelor's degree from Winona Teachers College and a master's degree from the University of Minnesota. He served in the United States Navy before beginning his career as a high school teacher and coach. Later, he had a very successful computer hardware and software sales career. He loved to play golf at Mission Hills Country Club, lovingly cared for his many rose bushes, traveled extensively in his RV, and enjoyed managing his investment portfolio. He also treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren.

A private memorial service was held for the family on July 19, 2014.

Arrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
