Ronald Wayne Loomis, 83, born on March 4, 1939, in Logan, OH, United States, passed away February 18, 2023. He resided in Cathedral City, CA at the time of his passing. He is survived by his daughter; Lesa Marie Loomis, grandaughters; Lilly Loomis, Ella Loomis, and Annalina Loomis, grandsons; Daydin Loomis and Joseph Loomis. Ronald was married to Bonnie Marie Loomis for 40+ years and each had a son; James Millard Ackerman and Richard Charles Loomis. when they met at a local church choir. He proudly served his country in the Navy, stationed in San Diego in 1956. He had a Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University, and was a Teacher for 30+ years here in the Palm Springs area. His hobbies included; hiking with friends, woodworking in his garage, and many creative artwork pieces. Ronald was a very kind and gentle man always making new friends, especially just hanging out in his garage all day. His friends included many in his neighborhood, where he would always make sure to wave if you were just passing by. He will be missed dearly by many! Final resting place will be at Riverside National Cemetery alongside his wife; Bonnie Marie Loomis(1945-2018). Please contact: Lesa Loomis at lesam.loomis@gmail.com for any "In Memory Of" donations.
