In Loving Memory of Ronald Hayes
1947– 2025
Ronald Hayes, beloved son of Shirley and Simon of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and a longtime resident of Chatsworth, California, passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 78. A kindhearted and deeply knowledgeable man, Ron left a memorable mark on the many communities he touched throughout his life.
Ronald was a highly accomplished professional in the fields of civil and environmental engineering. With a degree from the University of Wisconsin and a career that spanned decades, Ron served in pivotal roles. He worked for over 15 years as a business partner and senior consultant at Compliance Administrators & Project Services, Inc. where he managed environmental and health safety compliance projects for dozens of clients all over California. Ron was widely respected for his technical brilliance, collaborative spirit, and dedication to excellence.
In his most recent role, Ron served as Vice President and a Senior Project Manager at KERAMIDA Inc., where he applied his expertise in environmental risk management and regulatory compliance to support industrial clients. His work at KERAMIDA reflected his deep commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable engineering practices.
Known to colleagues and friends as thoughtful, meticulous, and generous with his knowledge, Ron mentored countless individuals over the years. He brought curiosity and integrity to every endeavor, along with a warm sense of humor and a steady presence.
Outside of work, Ron had a lifelong love for football, science, and history. He was a proud Badger and Packers fan and maintained strong ties to his Midwestern roots. Though he built a distinguished career in California, Ron never lost touch with the values of honesty, humility, and resilience that he carried from his early years in Kenosha.
He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved traveling and visiting new places with his partner Menka.
He is survived by his partner of 18 years, Menka, his daughter Rebecca, son Collin and his wife Adrienne , his sisters Sue, June and Traci and grandchildren, Antu, Shanti, Kiran and Nikai, and many friends. Ron's legacy lives on through the many lives he enriched and the work he so passionately pursued.
