Ronald Hanna, 86, born on October 07, 1939, in Sioux City, IA, United States, passed away August 29, 2026 peacefully with his family by his side. He resided in La Qunita, CA.

Ronald was a hardworking man with a servant’s heart. He believed in working hard, helping others, and, most importantly, taking care of his family. For 50 years, Ronald built a career in real estate, where his strong work ethic and genuine desire to serve people became hallmarks of the way he lived his life.

He was a provider in every sense of the word. He gave his family not only what they needed, but also his time, strength, guidance, and love. Above all else, Ronald was an amazing father and grandfather, and his family was his greatest pride.

Ronald shared 62 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marjorie, who preceded him in death two years ago. Together, Ronald and Marjorie built a beautiful life centered around family, hard work, devotion, and love. The life they created together became the foundation for the generations that followed.

Those who knew Ronald will also remember his sense of humor. Whether you called him on the phone or walked through the door, there was a good chance you would be greeted with one of his famous lines:

“Did you bring any money?”

For a man famous for asking, “Did you bring any money?” Ronald spent a lifetime giving—to his family, his clients, and the people around him.

Ronald is survived by his children, Trent Hanna (Maria), Shane Hanna (Stacy), Becky Louallen (Stephen), and Jason Hanna.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Luke Hanna, Seth Hanna, Leah Hanna, Rachel Hanna, Adelina Navarro, Roni Gilbert, JMatt Rangel, Allie Mendoza, Nikki Hanna, and Samantha Reed.

His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Cash Hanna, Claire Hanna, William Reynolds, Ellis Reynolds, Milo Mendoza, Marco Mendoza, Marley Mendoza, Kennedy Reed, Emma Hanna, Kylie Hanna, Maddie Hanna, Austin Carilo, Camden Gilbert, Jack Matthews, Becca Navarro, and Hailey Webb.

Ronald will be remembered for his work ethic, generosity, humor, willingness to serve others, and the way he provided for the people he loved. But more than anything, he will be remembered as Dad and Grandpa—the man at the center of a family who loved him deeply.

His legacy cannot be measured simply by the years he worked or the things he accomplished, but by the family he loved, the people he helped, and the lives he touched.

After 62 years together and two years apart, there is comfort in knowing that Ronald and Marjorie are together again.

And while his family will deeply miss his presence, his guidance, his humor, and even that familiar question—“Did you bring any money?”—the love and memories he gave them will be carried forward for generations.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, California.
