Ronald David Alex

Ronald David Alex, 63, born November 2, 1952, entered eternal life January 7, 2016.
Born the third child in a family of 4 children, headed by Harold and Lillian Alex , he was the first of his family to be born in Los Angeles.
Baptized a catholic, he attended elementary school at St Leo, St Albert, Our Lady of Victory and high school at Pius X before graduating from Dominguez High in 1970.

The family lived in Compton, first on Stockwell from 1951 - 1964 then on Spring St., from 1964 - 1989 Much love and life was shared in those homes
A man of many interests, including aviation - he became a licensed pilot - politics and history were of particular interest. Loved ones and career were uppermost in Ron's heart.

Ronald worked at various jobs before enrolling in Compton College and embarking upon a career in the Health Care Profession as a Respiratory Therapist
He met Sharon at work. They married and he became a parent to Cheryl and Kristie. Later they parted, but remained in contact.
He worked at many hospitals throughout the greater Los Angeles area including Doctor's Hospital in Montclair and from 1990 thru 2015 at St Francis Hospital in Lynwood where he became a Neonatal Respiratory Therapist. Here he made lasting friends and provided quality care.
Always a man with his own mind, he inherited traits from both parents. Like his Dad he was stylish, sharp as might be said in how he appeared and how he carried himself. Like his Mom he would go for it, take a chance in other words, being familiar with local casinos.

He was predeceased by his brother, nephew, mother and father. Left to mourn are numerous relatives and friends.

Those are blessed who felt the glow of the love he showered upon them.
