Romeo Daniel Matara

Romeo Daniel Matara, 58, passed peacefully in his home in Glendale, CA embraced by his family and surrounded by love on August 16, 2022.
Romeo was born on February 11, 1964, in Constanta, Romania. He proceeded to graduate from Mircea cel Batrân high school before immigrating to the United States with his family.

Romeo received his degree in computer engineering. He was proud to be able to start his own consulting business in software development. He then worked for Kaiser Permanente for over 25 years as a software engineer.

Romeo is survived by his wife, Eveline C. Matara, of 30 years. His children, Alexander Daniel Matara and Brianna E. Matara. His mother, Elisabeta Matara, and siblings. Romeo was preceded in death by his father Sevastian Matara.

Anyone who knew Romeo would agree, he was always quick to smile and was a jokester by nature, always making people laugh. He was an enthusiast of Porsches, guns, and scotch. But he especially loved to cook and show love to his family by making meals like his salmon, garlic paste, Romanian tomato salad, and pizza. In the word of Romeo himself about losing a loved one

Viewing and service will be held on September 7, 2022, at Forest Lawn Memorial.
