Roger L. Pinette, age 78 of Plaistow, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Roger was born in Haverhill on April 22, 1936 the son of the late Francis and Emma (LaBelle) Pinette. He was raised in Haverhill and attended St. Joseph's School.

He worked as a machine operator for Western Electric in No. Andover and retired with 25 years of service.

Roger had many interests including, fishing, biking, walking and spending many hours searching for hidden treasures with his metal detector. He loved old movies with Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, and even the occasional Three Stooges episode. He enjoyed collecting and had a formidable collection of watches and old pipes.

Roger was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Pinette of Haverhill, Mass. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda M. (Blinn) Pinette of Plaistow. His daughter, Linda J. Marshall and husband, David S. of Atkinson, NH. His sons; Daniel R. Pinette of Bradford, MA, Frank L. Pinette of Plaistow, NH and Michael D. Pinette and wife, Bridget of Haverhill, MA. His sisters, Julie Anne Pinette of Haverhill, MA and Jean Hammer of Florida. Nine grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.

Friends and family are invited to attend his Life Celebration on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 4-8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865.
His funeral will begin on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 9 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at All Saints Church in Haverhill, MA with burial to follow in Plaistow Cemetery.
