Roger Keith Dencklau, 59, born on April 5, 1957 in Santa Monica, California, passed away November 3, 2016. Roger was known for his kind heart, big smile, and making friends with everyone he met. He spent his career in contracting and farming, striving for perfection in all of his pursuits. Roger started farming in Webster County Iowa when he was 16, flying back to Iowa each summer from his childhood home in California. He retired from farming at the age of 42, working over 2000 acres. Roger then began rebuilding houses and working as general contractor in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area, then in the San Fernando Valley in California.

He is survived by his children Neil, Kelly, and Jamie Dencklau; sister Anne and brother-in-law Rick Fisher; and mother Darlene and step-father George Nolan.

He resided in Winnetka, California, at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.
