Rogelio San Jose

Rogelio San Jose, 80 years of age, born on February 20, 1944, in Nueva Ecija, Philippines, passed away January 19, 2025. He resided in Buena Park, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA. 

Rogelio, also known as Roger, was an Accountant by profession and married to his loving wife, Gloria San Jose, for 30 years.  Rogelio was the fifth of seven children and four preceded him in death.  

Rogelio is very well loved by his family, friends and colleagues. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband and always thinking of others first.  He was humble, gentle in character and a man of tremendous faith in God.   He always say "whoever does not love, does not know God, because God is love." (John 4:8)

Rogelio loved gardening, cooking, playing domino and most of all karaoke, singing his favorite Elvis Presley songs.

He is survived by his spouse, Gloria, his oldest brother, Julio, youngest sister, Iluminada, his brother in-law, Mario, his niece, Mary Joan and several cousins.  

A visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Hope Chapel on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Service will be held at St. Pius V Catholic Church on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception lunch to follow at Komi Buffet.
