Rodolfo "Rudy" Perez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 87 in Los Angeles, California. Born on November 18, 1936, in San Juan, Philippines, Rudy dedicated his life to hard work and family, leaving a lasting legacy in the construction industry during his time residing on the island of Guam.

Rudy’s career in construction spanned many years, where his skills and determination made a significant impact. Known for his ambition and strong work ethic, he was a man who sacrificed greatly for his family, always striving to provide the very best for them. He took immense pride in being a hands-on individual, not only in his profession but also in building a loving home in Hagatna Heights.

Rudy was a loving husband to Eva Delos Reyes Perez, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. He was a caring father to his eight children: Tony, Bobby, Jhune Jr., Rick, Malou Tinoso, Mhonn, Rhomeo, and Sonnie Perez. As he cherished his role as a father, he was even prouder to be a grandfather, sharing joyful moments and creating lasting memories with his grandchildren: Christian, Jo Anne, Kyle, Carina, Robert, Rodney, Chelsea, Jazen, Crystal, Mark, Andrew, Chi-Ann, Sean, Kenny, Casey, Kristoffer, and Kateleen.

In addition to his immediate family, Rudy embraced his role as a stepfather to Barry, Ryan, and Vanessa, and welcomed his son-in-law Jesse and daughter-in-laws Sharina and Cake into his heart. He also showed great warmth to his daughters-in-law: Jazmin, Avelina, Edna, Eva, and Cielo.

Rudy enjoyed the company of his nieces, including Marianne, Ayda, Leila, Theng, and Sinia, forging bonds that would last a lifetime. His nurturing spirit and generous nature helped him build a network of love and support around him.

Rudy is now reunited with his late first wife, Chit Perez, and his beloved family members who have passed, including his daughter-in-law Faye, son-in-law Gilbert, eldest brother Turing, and sisters Paquita, Helen, Mely, and Carmen, along with his niece Agnes. Their cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

As the days progress, friends and family will gather to celebrate Rudy's remarkable life. A visitation viewing will take place on September 5, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Hope Chapel, located at 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630. This will be followed by a funeral service on September 6, 2024, starting at 11:30 AM at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Patriots Chapel.

Rudy Perez's legacy as a devoted family man, skilled builder, and kind-hearted individual will always be remembered. His spirit will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones through the years to come.
