Rodolfo Lim, also known as Rudy to his friends and Uncle Sam to family members, age 91, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026 at his home in Rosemead, CA. He was born October 17, 1934, in Manila, Philippines to parents Lim A. Kong and Fong Tin Lay.
Rudy was a loving and devoted husband and father, and is remembered as a kind and generous brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend. Rudy is survived by his wife, Patricia and his daughter Pauline Dorothy. In addition, he is also survived by sisters Lim Lan Heng and Magdalena Sia. Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Lim A. Kong and Fong Tin Lay, his brothers Elias Lim and Ricardo Lim, and his sister, Paulita Chan.
Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
