East Hampstead, NH: Robin J. LeDuc, 74, died on January 30, 2015 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Born, raised, and educated in Newport, NH, son of the late Joseph and Virginia (Dent) LeDuc, he graduated from Towle High School with the Class of 1958. Mr. LeDuc served in the United States Air Force Reserve from 1959 to 1965 and was a recipient of the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, and the Air Force Longevity Service Award.
Mr. LeDuc was a Master Electrician and owned and operated G.A. Watson & Sons.
A member of the Kingston V.F.W., he was also a member of Ducks Unlimited and the New Hampshire Audubon Society. A devoted grandfather, Mr. LeDuc enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed reading, traveling, and attending Red Sox and Patriots games.
He was predeceased by his wife, Judith (Watson) LeDuc, and is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathi and Andrew Sanft of Port Washington, NY, and Karen LeDuc and her husband Matthew Kanaracus of Jamaica Plain, MA, four grandchildren, Gabrielle Sanft, Ethan Sanft, Daniel Kanaracus, and Henry Kanaracus, a brother, Andrew LeDuc of Belchertown, MA, two sisters, JoAnn Ely of Ware, MA, and Laurie LeDuc-Jones of Fergus Falls, MN, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald LeDuc.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend A Service of Remembrance on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Audubon Society, 2 Deerneck Road, Auburn, NH 03032 or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
