Roberto Macias, 56, born on January 02, 1968, in Artesia, CA, United States, passed away August 17, 2024. He resided in Norwalk, CA at the time of his passing.
One can say Beto "walked to the tune of a different drummer". As a child his parents could tell Beto was very smart. He evidenced that by being accepted to the top-rated school in California, Whitney High School. Beto was also street smart- he was comfortable talking about any subject. But he had an almost spiritual knack of knowing the best restaurants in both Orange and LA Counties – from Mexican to Vietnamize he seemed to know them all. He loved the mom-and-pop restaurants over the more commercial restaurants. Interesting enough, his favorite was Tommy’s Burgers.
Beto was proud of all his siblings, nieces, nephews and friends’ accomplishments. He had a delightful habit of celebrating their talents, awards, job promotions. But most of all Beto loved his parents in his own way. He was fond of tussling his dad’s hair while having conversations at the dinner table. He often teased his mother by urging her to immediately call Pepita or Tio Jorge.
Beto- you’re going to be missed. Love you.
