In Loving Memory of Roberto “Bobby” Montemayor Lacson

May 13, 1961 to July 20, 2026

Roberto “Bobby” Montemayor Lacson was born on May 13, 1961, in the Philippines. Bobby was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, generosity, quiet strength, and above all, his love for his family.

Bobby was a man of few words, but the way he lived spoke volumes. He was hardworking and dependable, rarely complained, and was always willing to sacrifice for the people he loved. He could be quiet and reserved, but around family and friends, especially with a beer in hand, his funny side would always come out.

One of the greatest stories of Bobby’s life began when he was just a child. Bobby and his wife, Isabelita “Baby” Lacson, grew up as childhood friends, and even back then, Bobby had a special crush on her. That childhood friendship eventually grew into a love that would last a lifetime.

For 44 years, Bobby and Baby shared a beautiful life together. They built a home and a family, welcoming their two children, Vince and Nicolette, and eventually watching their family grow to include their grandchildren.

One of Bobby and Baby’s greatest joys was traveling together. Over the years, they traveled the world, taking cruises, exploring new countries, enjoying good food, and creating countless memories along the way. Sometimes it was just the two of them, and other times their children and grandchildren joined them. Traveling was more than something they enjoyed. It was a special part of the life they built together and gave their family memories they will treasure forever.

As a father to Vince and Nicolette, Bobby was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. He had a gentle and even-tempered nature and was always there for his children through every stage of their lives. Whether they needed advice, help, encouragement, or simply their dad, they always knew they could count on their “POP.” His love wasn’t always expressed through words. It was shown through everything he did for them.

As much as Bobby loved being a father, becoming a grandfather brought another special kind of joy into his life. To London, Ryder, Kaia, Luna, and Vincent, he was the best grandfather they could have asked for. Even after a long day of work, he made time to see them, spend time with them, and help care for them. Being tired never seemed as important as being there for his grandchildren. His love for them was constant, and the memories they made with their grandfather will stay with them forever.

Bobby also had a special bond with his dog, Hunter, who was truly part of the family and brought him so much happiness and companionship over the years.

Bobby loved the simple pleasures in life, good food, especially a great Italian pasta, a good red ale, and being surrounded by the people he loved. Some of the best moments were simply sitting around a table together, sharing a meal, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.

And then there were the Seattle Seahawks. Bobby wasn’t a casual fan. He was serious about his Seahawks and rarely missed a game. Football Sundays and Seahawks games became part of family life, and his love for the team was something everyone knew about him. Watching the Seahawks together became a special tradition between Bobby and his son Vince. Win or lose, he was a loyal fan through it all. And how fitting that he got to see his team become 2026 Super Bowl LX Champions!

Bobby truly lived life to the fullest. He worked hard, but he also knew how to enjoy the life he had built. He valued experiences, appreciated the simple things, and most of all, loved spending time with his family. He made the most of his life and filled it with the people and things that brought him happiness.

Bobby was extraordinarily generous. He would happily give up what he had if it meant his family or friends could enjoy themselves. He never needed recognition or praise for the things he did. Taking care of the people around him was simply who he was.

Bobby is lovingly remembered by his wife, Isabelita “Baby” Lacson; his children, Vince and Nicolette; his grandchildren, London, Ryder, Kaia, Luna, and Vincent; his mother, Myrna “Mamita” Lacson; his siblings, Rica, Isabel, Bea, Ernest, and Elvira; and the many family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Bobby leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind an example of what it means to work hard without complaining, to give generously without expecting anything in return, to live life fully, and to show your family that you love them simply by being there, day after day, year after year.

He will be deeply missed, but his family will carry him with them in everything they do, in the traditions they continue, the meals they share, the Seahawks games they watch, and especially in the places they travel. Traveling was such a meaningful part of Bobby’s life and of the memories he created with his family. They will continue to see the world together, keeping that tradition alive and carrying POP with them wherever they go. Every new destination will be another way of honoring him and remembering the incredible life and adventures they were fortunate enough to share.

A devoted husband. A loving father. The best grandfather. A hardworking and generous man. And someone his family could always count on.

The love he gave, the memories he created, and the life he built will remain with his family forever.
