Robert A. Wagner

Bob was born on November 19, 1953 at Park Avenue Hospital in Pomona. He graduated from Pomona High (Red Devils) in 1971. He lived in Southern California all of his life and was heard saying he "would never live anywhere else". His love for SO-CAL did not extend to the LA Dodgers who he hated with a passion. His true love was for his beloved San Franciso Giants and 49ers.

Bob's dear friends Bob, Sherry, Diane and Gus were a faithful support network for him. Bob loved his pet cat, Ginger, whom he rescued from the Humane Society. Diane has adopted Ginger, who will have a great new home.

Bob worked at the Charter Oak School District as a Custodian for 25+ years. Bob loved the kids and was happy to provide a clean and inviting environment. He loved to bowl at Covina Bowl and enjoyed meals and friendship at Costas Family restaurant.

Bob lived in Covina with his mother until her death in 1986. He will be laid to rest next to his mother, Ruth on Thursday, February 14th during a graveside service at Forest Lawn Covina Hills at noon.

Bob is preceeded in death by his mother, Ruth; father, Paul; Aunt Barbara and Uncle Rick. He is survived by his brother, Joe; sister in law, Karen; cousins, Don and Mike; niece, Heather; nephews, David, Brian and Joshua, grand niece and nephew, Emma and Evan; Aunts Kathy and Bertha, Uncle Frank; and good friend Cathy Carson.

The family wishes to thank Megan Clinic, Intercommunity Hospital and Gladstone Care Center for their compassion and care.
