Robert was born on August 14, 1950 in Tucson, Arizona. He was raised by his parents Jung May King and Hom Tuen Jung from Canton, China. He grew alongside his sisters, Ping Woo and Woo Tom. Whilst working at his father's grocery store, Robert graduated Pueblo High School in 1968, and further excelled in trade school to become a skilled electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Robert's marriage united him with Rita Woo in 1983 until the moment of his untimely passing. Together, the two made the San Gabriel Valley home to his growing family. Robert served the community with great joy and admirable enthusiasm. He eagerly participated in big and small roles with race events, school districts, Boy Scouts of America, and non-profit organizations such as Pasadena Meals on Wheels and Pasadena Union Station Homeless Services. Even with his retirement in 2016, he wasn't one to settle down. He spent his time doing what he loved: being an all around handyman. A father to the fatherless. A friend to many. A man on a mission. His beaming smile, proficient work ethics, and take charge attitude are immeasurable and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by heartbroken loved ones: wife, son and daughter, Rita, Russell, and Robyn, and family dog, Jackson.
