Robert (Bob) Serrano, Jr.

Robert (Bob) Serrano, Jr. was born on April 5, 1938 in Tarlac City, Philippines to Roberto Serrano, Sr. and Narcisa Serrano, nee Galang.  Bob was the oldest child in the family and had two brothers (Eduardo and Alfonso) and one sister (Lourdes). 

Bob attended Tarlac Elementary School and attended Tarlac High School in the Philippines.  Thereafter, he attended the University of the Philippines (UP) in Manila, Philippines, where he received both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration.  Bob’s subsequent professional career all related to business management and/or administration. 

Bob immigrated to the United States in 1982 and lived in Southern California for the rest of his life.  Bob’s home church is Northridge United Methodist Church, where he has been a member since 1996.

Bob passed away on May 16, 2023 in North Hills, California.  He is survived by his wife Eleanor; his children Bobby, Judea, Marie, Michelle and Ella; his grandchildren Frauline, Andre, Stein, Kyndra, Jeffrey, Julian, Samantha, Arielle, Rebecca, Danielle, Gabrielle and Grayson; his great-grandchildren Keithy, Janessa and Bryce; and his sister Lourdes.
