Robert J. Macias, 85, born on July 25, 1929, in Los Angeles, California, passed away August 30, 2014. He resided in Lakewood, California at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Acela Hernandez de Macias and his children Gilda and Juan Jimenez, Yvette and Tony Galaviz, Thelma and Dr. Robert Guerra, Robert and Gabriela Carbajal Macias, Gabriela and Michael Vasquez. He leaves his beloved grandchildren Johnny and Ceci Jimenez; Kevin and Brian Galaviz; Air Force A1C Wesley and Geoffrey Guerra; Daniela, Alex and Nicholas Macias; and Brianna, Michael Vincent, Lauren, Emma and Luke Vasquez. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
