Robert John Lujan

Robert (Bob) John Lujan, 86, born on February 11, 1936, in Los Angeles, CA, United States, passing peacefully away June 22, 2022 in the presence of his loved ones. He is mourned by his wife Eva who called him her Liebling, children Loretta Summers and Ron Lujan who called him Dad, 4 Grandchildren and their spouse's and 6 Great Grandchildren who called him Papa, Brother Oscar and wife Sandy, Sister-In-Law Kathy, Nieces and Nephews too numerous to name in this limited space as well as the countless friends and professional colleagues he met along his journey. He was an Air Force Veteran, Mechanical Engineer in HVAC design and recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) a Professional Society with over 57,000 members in over 132 Countries. He was a Licensed Master Sea Captain (100-ton vessels) who, together with Eva, refurbished 7 ocean boats the last of which was a 46' Bertram Sport Fisher named the Tegern Sea (after the lake where he and Eva honeymooned) in which they fished the waters from Ensenada Mexico to Catalina and the inner and outer Channel Islands. Later in life they both found adventure camping in their motor homes where they found a new group of friends and family. He always had a ready smile and was quick to give a helping hand. He was loved, admired and respected by all who knew him.
