Robert Lee Williams

August 8th, 1944 – July 20th, 2024

 Robert L. Williams was born on August 8th , 1944 to John and Katie Williams in Greenville, South Carolina. 

He was the 3rd eldest of 6 children: John Jr., Edward, James, Kathleen, and Glenda. Robert served in the Military and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by the Atlas Spring and Wire Co. as a Supervisor/Manager until retirement. 

 Robert married his childhood friend, Dolores Christine Bondon, on Sept. 15th, 1973 and resided in Long Beach, CA. 

 He was raised in a Christian household attending Mount Sinai Baptist Church in San Pedro, California.

 His favorite hobbies included: Cooking, Fishing, Billiards, Bowling, and Casino runs. 

 One of his favorite Sports Teams was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sister: Glenda Edwards

Brother: Eddie Williams

 Sons & Daughter in Law: Marvin & Freida Alexander, Kenell Williams, & Shanard Williams

Grandsons: Kion Williams, Kamal Alexander, & Shane Alexander

Granddaughter: Saniya Williams

Niece: Tranese Edwards

Brothers In Law: Danny & David Bondon

Sisters In Law: Annette & Patricia Bondon

And a host of other family members and loved ones

Robert was a quiet, but firm soul with a laugh that would make you smile and laugh with Him.

He was a great Father and excellent provider for His family and was well liked by friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

 He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Williams, Parents, and 3 siblings. 

 Robert Lee Williams will be missed by all who loved him and will be remembered for His Wisdom and Laughter.
