Robert Kushin, 98, of Palm Desert, CA passed away on May 15, 2017. He was born on Feb. 1, 1919 to Charles and Sylvia Kushin in NYC, NY where he spent his first 44 years. It was there he met his first true love Shirley, to whom he was married for over 50 years until her untimely death in 1995. He was then married to his 2nd wife, Alberta, for over 15 years before her passing in 2014. Bob was employed as a Cutter in the apparel industry before moving West to California in 1963, where he worked as a restaurateur, picture framer, postal worker, and more. He is survived by his two sons, Ken and Barry, their wives Kit and Sheila, his Sister, Marilyn, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Memorial will be held on Sat., May 27, at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn, Cathedral City. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Cathedral City.
