Robert E. Hubley

Derry, NH:  Robert E. Hubley, 82, died at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH on November 25, 2012.

He was born on October 4, 1930 in Haverhill, MA, the son of the late Elmer Adams and Mabel (Montgomery) Hubley.  He was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA graduating from Haverhill High School in 1949.  He lived in Haverhill most of his working life.  He had worked as an auto mechanic for Fred Monteith at the ESSO Gas Station in Monument Square.

He enjoyed spending summer vacations camping with his family at Sebago Lake in Maine.  He also enjoyed spending time swimming in his pool in his backyard as well as watching sports on T.V.

He moved to Hampstead, NH where he resided at Emerson Village with his wife, Maxine, for over thirty years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Maxine (Lamb) Hubley, who died May 17, 2004.  He is survived by a son, Edward Hubley of Raymond; two daughters, Deborah Luiz of Plaistow and Donna Banks and her husband, John of Danville; a sister-in-law, Claire Hubley of Sandown; a niece, Dale Clayton and her husband, Jack of Plaistow; three grandsons, three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his former wife, Carol (Jutres) Mau of Raymond.  He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Hubley, who died August 28, 2012.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
