Robert Eugene Gordon

Mr. Robert Eugene Gordon, 70, born on November 29, 1943, in Los Angeles, CA, passed away January 31, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday February 8, 2014 at the chapel at 6525 Sapphire Street, Alta Loma, CA 91701. He resided in Cathedral City, CA at the time of his passing. He worked in the construction industry as an iron worker for over 50 years. He was the 5th child of Alfred Franklin and Edna May (Wiseman) Gordon. He is predeceased by his brother Alfred Gordon, Jr; his sister, Betty Deason; and his brother John Gordon. He is survived by his sister, Jean Tobey of Cathedral City, CA; and his brother Ron Gordon of Crestline, CA. He is the father of 5 living children: Annamay Doby, of Pomona, CA; Robin Gordon of Las Vegas, NV; Robert Gordon of Northern CA; Joanna Gordon of Derry, NH; Sarah Dillard of Alta Loma, CA; 14 grandchildren; their children; and his dog Obi. He was a hardworking, loving, and generous man who celebrated life with all. His gentle and kind heart will be missed.
