Robert V. Gonzalez

Robert V. Gonzalez, age 69, born on September 3,1951, in El Paso, TX, United States. Our brave father proudly served in the United States Navy for 7 years, in those 7 years he fought in the Vietnam War and served as a Naval support force team in Antarctica. When he received honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1978, he went on to work for the Southern California Gas Co. and retired after 32 years of the excellent service. Sadly our dearest and beloved father passed away on January 6, 2021. He resided in Covina, CA at the time of his passing. Our father leaves behind two daughters and four young grandchildren. Our father is deeply missed and has left an enormous void in our life's and that of his grandchildren. Our father was an amazing, loving and wonderful father and grandpa, he touched everyone's heart who met him, he was known for his kindness, comical and light hearted demeanor and unique craftsmanship, among many other fine qualities. He dedicated his whole life to my sister and I, and worked very hard to provide the best life for us and would do absolutely anything and everything for his two girls, his daughters, his love for us knew no limit, it had no end and was completely and utterly selfless, a love like our sweet fathers is a love that irreplaceable.Our fathers memorial arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
