May 6, 1933 — February 24, 2016
Robert accomplished a lot in his lifetime. Served in the Army during the Korean War, attended Arizona State University earning a Master's Degree, created R. D. Evans Construction and Development, became a pilot, avid football fanatic, and raised a family. One of Robert's last adventures was an extra in the movie "Fatherless".
He is survived by his wife Vickie, children R. David Evans, Andrea Moseley, R. Donald Evans, step-children Deborah Hobelman, Jeffrey Cadwallader, Patricia Schilling, brother H. Lee Evans, sister Corrine Aulgur, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, son Robert D. Evans, Jr., brother Gene Evans, daughter-in-law Patty Evans, and grandson Robert D. Evans, III.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Cathedral City, CA.
